Did you forget to turn off your auto reply message yet again? Use a mail rule to disable it automatically. That way, even if you forget, FirstClass looks after it for you.
9203_31709_1.png Example
Michael Green is the manager of Sales and Marketing at Husky Planes. He has scheduled his vacation and wants his Mailbox to generate an automatic reply notifying people that he will be out of the office until July 19th. He wants the automatic reply to be disabled at 9:00 AM on the day he returns to the office.
To do this, Michael creates an advanced mail rule that will generate an automatic reply to all messages that arrive during his vacation.
To create the mail rule, Michael does the following:
1 He creates an advanced mail rule by opening his Mailbox, choosing Collaborate > Rules, and clicking New Advanced Rule.
2 He enters the name of the rule, makes sure the enabled box is selected, and sets the rule to generate a reply every time a message is received.
3 He sets the reply to be sent if the following conditions are met:
• the date has not exceeded 9:00 AM on July 19th
                • the sender is not an automated system
                • the sender is not a spam message
                • the message is an email, not a voicemail or fax.
4 He sets the rule to automatically send the autoreply text that he has set in his Preferences.

Here are his Preferences settings:

Make sure mail rules are in the correct order, because they are carried out sequentially.

Michael could also create a document for his automatic reply message, which would allow him to send a formatted reply.
To create the mail rule with an attached document, Michael does the following:
1 He creates a new document with all of the information he wishes to be included in the automatic reply and saves it.
2 He sets up an advanced mail rule and drags the new document into the attachment section.

The attachment must be dragged into the rule before the parameters are set in order for it to appear in the dropdown menu.
4 He enters the name of the rule, makes sure the Enabled box is selected, and sets the rule to generate a reply every time a message is received.
5 He sets the reply to be sent under the same conditions as above, and with the attached document.
