Summary
Have you discovered a new way of marking papers that would save other faculty members time? Is there a student in your class you just don't know how to deal with? Have you ever wanted to ask for advice from more experienced faculty members? Set up a best practices conference in your faculty area where teachers can post tips and ask each other questions.
Example
The teachers at Avalon Academy have decided they would like a communal place to ask questions and share ideas with fellow coworkers, so they ask the principal to create a conference for this purpose.
Madelyn Fraser creates a conference called Best Practices in the staff area. Within the conference she creates subconferences for employees to post tips and ask each other questions. This makes navigating and organizing much easier.
Next, the Madelyn sets permissions for the Best Practices conference.
She gives herself Controller permissions, gives Faculty members Contributor permissions, and sets All Users to Disallowed.
Note
The entries in the Who field have to be in the correct order because the permissions are carried out sequentially.
